100kN Pneumatic Wedge Grips for Tensile Testing

The 100kN Pneumatic Wedge Grip is used for tensile testing on high strength materials such as metals and reinforced plastics. The pneumatic piston is used to close the wedge jaws. The force from the tensile pulling helps to pull the jaws down in the wedge and increase the lateral force on the sample. These grips are heavy, over 100 lbs. each, so tab adapters can be used to downsize and use smaller scale grips and fixtures.
