The ASTM C307 Briquette Tensile Testing Grips are designed according to the standard. They are used for testing mortars, grouts, and other types of monolithic surfacings. The standard samples are shaped also like a short dumbbell and loaded into the grips. The fixture has a special backstop to help with sample alignment.
