ASTM D2412 - Plastic Pipe Compression Test
ASTM D2412 covers compression testing of plastic pipes and tubes. The sample is compressed at a fixed rate of speed using compression platens. One spherically seated compression platen is commonly used in order to align the compression force. Measurements are taking at different % load deflection in order to determine pipe stiffness.
