ASTM D4032 Fabric Stiffness on a Universal Testing Machine

The ASTM D4032 fixture is used to test the stiffness of fabrics. The test procedure is similar to that of a puncture test. The plunger pushes the sample down and through the hole. Maximum or peak load is the most common measurement recorded for this test.
