ASTM F1342 Puncture Fixture for Protective Clothing
The ASTM F1342 Puncture Fixture is used for puncture testing of protective clothing. A sharp needle is used to push down through the sample. The sample specimen is held down by the steel plate and the quick clamps. The needles are interchangeable with the needle holder. Both the bottom fixture and the needle holder connect to the universal testing machine with a clevis pin adapter.
