These grips are suitable for use up to 50kN and are compatible with any Universal Testing Machine via the industry standard clevis style adapter. The mechanical action wedge grips include jaws for holding either flat samples or round samples. Wedge grips like these are often used on tests such as ASTM D638 for tensile testing of plastics.
